Over the last three years we have worked with quite an inspirational person in Paula Fitzsimons, her work with female-led businesses in Ireland both through Going for Growth and Acorns is ground-breaking.
This is the highlights of the final ceremony of the third cycle of Acorns where the previous and new participants come together for the final and first session of their work.
A huge amount of resources, time, energy and money, go into setting up and executing your successful event. By filming the event and producing a video you can help to extend its lifetime considerably. This Acorns event coverage video is a great example of our cost effective solution to this challenge.
About Acorns
When I worked on the KPMG Going for Growth project I got to meet Paula Fitzsimons. Paula is the powerhouse behind these tremendous projects and a networking guru. One of the other networks that she organises is Acorns, this is a version of ‘Going for Growth’ specifically for rural female entrepreneurs. Acorns is a network of peer-led support groups throughout the country that help to drive, promote and encourage female-led rural businesses.
Based around a lead entrepreneur, the groups explore themes of strategy, sales, marketing, finance and implementation. This fantastic project has led to an upsurge of female led businesses throughout rural Ireland. It has led to a defined impact, bringing much needed growth in rural communities through business.
The Event
We filmed this video at the annual end-of-cycle ceremony where one group finishes and the new group of entrepreneurs begin. The video consists of a combination of standalone interviews, atmospheric footage and coverage of the action at the podium. The content will come from both the podium coverage and your interviews with participants and organisers. The interviews allow you to both drill down into the details and also get excellent reactions. The covering footage helps to add both atmosphere and action to the final highlights video.
The work that is done by Acorns is fantastic It is a great honour for us to be involved with this project and to be around these women is a truly inspirational experience.
