What a year it’s been! We started the year with an IFTA nomination, corralled the girls at ICA Bootcamp, and helped The American Chamber celebrate, big time.

It’s been quite a year for Scott: “I have been in a helicopter, and I interviewed Sir Philip Greene the day after he shut 250 stores, I talked golf with Sandy Lyle… and I jumped up and down on Wang Du’s Cradle.

This was the year I went back to school and officially became a professional colourist.”

For Emer it’s been an exciting year in post production, editing 3 major documentaries: “I watched hours of footage of John Waters in the nude (“Naked“), cried with the families of the victims of 9/11 (“The Irish of 9/11“), and achieved a zen-like state working on the training scenes of Kenyan athletes (“Man On A Mission” to be broadcast in the New Year)”

As well as the American Chamber 50th Anniversary celebrations, Big Red Engine provided the videos for several major events, including Ireland Day in New York and The Irish Book Awards, which included a tribute to Seamus Heaney. We stayed up all night to produce KPMG’s response to the Budget. Then we wrapped up the year with The eircom Spider Awards, The Business and Finance Awards and the Junior Spiders. These awards shows were also filmed, edited, packaged and uploaded online during the event. Phew!

We hope it was a good year for you too. What were your highlights?

Wonder what next year will bring…
