As part of a revamp of the eircom Spider Awards content in 2013, Big Red Engine devised an entirely new motion graphic style for all the stings, breakers and indents. The main concept that Lee and Scott came up with was that the elements would be created from a web like pattern which would quickly resolve and become the solid elements and logos, we also played around with the idea of travelling the camera through a spiders web with elements and logos stuck in the webs strands.
Along with these ideas we had a concept for a feature film style opening credit sequence, in this instance the credits would be the various categories at the awards, the short impactful 90 second piece would help to kick of the evenings event with a bang.
